Prayer of Thanksgiving

We give thanks
Lord, for all you have given to us,
For lighting our way through the
Darkness of this world,
For giving us truth,
For loving us unconditionally.
For all Your blessings, Lord,
We thank You.

The unthankful heart... discovers no mercies;
but let the thankful heart sweep through the day and,
as the magnet finds the iron, so it will find,
in every hour, some heavenly blessings!

help me to remember the hungry;
When I have work,
help me to remember the jobless;
When I have a home,
help me to remember those who have no home at all;
When I am without pain,
help me to remember those who suffer,
And remembering,
help me to destroy my complacency;
